Nigel Egner - Operations Director at ASGB Ltd

“For the past 18 months we have been putting in place the necessary systems and procedures to comply with ISO 9001. Early on it became clear we could benefit from external expertise. We engaged Andrew (DayV) working in conjunction with ABA Training Ltd. to work with our team, to audit our progress and to advise during the final ISO audits. In the final few weeks due to exceptional circumstances we had to lean heavily on Andrew. I was impressed with the expertise demonstrated not only in relation to understanding our business needs and relating it practically and successfully to the ISO standard, but to the way Andrew worked at all levels of our company. A successful outcome was achieved.

It was a real pleasure having Andrew working within our business and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.”

Justin Levine - Group Managing Director at Parvalux Electric Motors

“Andrew, (owner of DayV), has a deep understanding of quality systems and a rare ability to manage hands-on in such a way to provide a meaningful and positive contribution to a business. Quality systems in many businesses are there to satisfy administrative needs; Andrew’s approach is such that quality becomes embedded within the business to deliver real and tangible value to customers”

Tony Catchpole - Kaizen Change

“I have worked with Andrew on a number of key strategic quality and environmental projects; I find his attention to detail is excellent while ensuring that the project is delivered within budget and in line with customer and business needs.”

John Pennick - Quality Manager - Emerson Network Power

“As part of the company’s continuous improvement programme, various personnel across the company were identified to take part in a NVQ Level 2 Business Improvement qualification.  To this end a training provider was identified to deliver the above programme.

With the roll out of this programme a number of assessors were assigned to cover the large numbers of employees participating. Andrew Davey was one of these assessors.  He had a number of employees as his responsibility, to ensure that they fully understood the training given and ensuring that the underpinning knowledge gained was then transferred into the required documentation.  This part of the process was dealt with on an individual basis, some employees were quick to gain an understanding and others needed more attention.  Andrew ensured that the speed of approach matched the employee’s requirements and needs.  He made himself available both on site and via electronic means.  With this level of the encouragement, all the employees had the correct support afforded to them to gain this qualification.

Andrew not only can offer the correct level of support required by the individual but also importantly has a comprehensive understanding of the NVQ structure and the requirements needed to obtain a positive result, for those partaking of this qualification.”
